POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure that each of our vacation rentals is always in top-notch condition.  In this role, you’ll provide our guests with a seamless, comfortable experience as you maintain and prepare properties for guest arrivals. You'll work closely with our property management team, performing inspections, completing repairs on time to minimize downtime, and implementing a preventative maintenance plan to prevent problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commute to properties to conduct routine inspections and maintenance on property systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances) to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

  • Address maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly, prioritizing urgent repairs to ensure minimal disruption.

  • Perform preventative maintenance to prevent issues and extend the lifespan of property systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, adhering to all safety and building codes.

  • Prepare properties for guest arrivals by ensuring everything is fully operational and free from safety hazards.

  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to identify and address maintenance needs pre- and post-guest stays.

  • Maintain organized records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections, and keep equipment and tools safely stored and ready for use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role with a strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance or trades are a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks accurately.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills suited to a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicles.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods

  • Reach overhead and below the waist

  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds

  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: 

Hourly Wage: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience and achievement


Bonus: Annual Bonuses are awarded based on performance and merit.

Schedule:  

  • Regular business hours with the flexibility to work overtime and on-call emergency as needed.
