Giles Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys and team members to deliver exceptional client service. You'll play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of litigation matters, from initial pleadings through trial preparation, while fostering strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel. Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
Maintain case calendars and track deadlines
Coordinate filings with state and federal courts
Organize and manage case files and exhibits
Assist with document production and eDiscovery processes
Prepare materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors as needed
Collaborate with team members to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
Prior experience as a civil litigation paralegal
Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and deadlines
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Capacity to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency with case management systems and litigation technology (MyCase is a plus)
Experience with trial preparation and document management preferred
At least 5 years+ of civil litigation experience as a paralegal
$75,000 - $95,000
This position offers a sign-on bonus. Annual bonuses are discretionary.
