Hawaii Care and Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team in beautiful Lihue, Hawaii. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, ensuring our luxury vacation properties consistently exceed guest expectations. You'll serve as the essential link between our housekeeping teams, maintenance staff, and leadership, orchestrating daily operations across the stunning East and North Shores of Kauai.
In this position, you'll be responsible for the seamless coordination of all housekeeping and maintenance activities, from building comprehensive cleaning schedules to ensuring every property turnover meets our exacting standards. Your day will involve managing team schedules, coordinating with Team Leads, monitoring real-time communications for urgent requests, and maintaining our supply inventory. You'll work closely with the Executive Director of Housekeeping to uphold quality standards while supporting property managers and owners in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Managing team member schedules and time-off requests
Reviewing upcoming guest arrivals and departures in scheduling software
Building and communicating cleaning schedules
Assigning cleaning staff to properties
Coordinating with Team Leads to ensure timely staff arrival
Reviewing and assigning maintenance work orders
Monitoring real-time communications for urgent requests
Ordering and managing supplies
Meeting with Executive Director of Housekeeping
Report to the Executive Director of Housekeeping
Lead housekeeping and maintenance functions for East and North Shores
Manage team member schedules and hours
Create and distribute cleaning schedules to the broader team
Develop maintenance schedules in coordination with Executive Director
Ensure accurate property turnover times
Act as daily coordinator between housekeeping teams and maintenance staff
Work closely with Executive Director to assess and maintain quality standards
Support property managers and owners
Oversee all aspects of property turnovers
Prepare daily supplies for each team member
Ensure staff arrive on time to assigned properties
Inspect cleaned properties and update tracking software
Conduct post-departure property preparation and report any issues
Manage laundry and supply inventory
Coach team members on quality improvements
High School diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of hospitality or customer service experience
