POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to join our growing Downtown Orlando team at Louis Berk Law. This hands-on role offers the unique opportunity to make an immediate impact through creative problem-solving and practical case management. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with our attorneys, applying your technical expertise and attention to detail across all phases of litigation—from initial case development through trial preparation. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including preparing legal documents, pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda and correspondence.

  • Draft and file legal documents and pleadings in State and Federal court.

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.

  • Communicate professionally with team members, clients, opposing counsel, judicial employees/clerk, and other legal professionals.

  • Coordinate case related deadlines, notice hearings, depositions, and other litigation related proceedings.

  • Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.

  • Prepare and maintain trial binders, exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices.

  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.

  • Data entry in case management system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, or other Litigation intensive areas preferred

  • Proven experience preparing litigation attorneys for trial

  • Proficient in using document management systems and electronic filing systems.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment, take direction and work with little supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiar with legal terminology, court proceeding and drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal documents.

  • Familiar with court procedures, courtMap, JAWS and e-filing via e-portal.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual Salary

$55,000 - $65,000
