As a member of the Housekeeping Department at The Gibson Inn, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations of the property. Responsibilities include maintaining laundry functions such as washing, folding, organizing, and restocking supplies, as well as cleaning guest rooms and providing stayover service as required to ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Perform all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and restocking linens and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.
Clean and prepare guest rooms as required, upholding brand and property standards, ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness.
Complete stayover service as required, refreshing linens, amenities, and room presentation throughout a guest's stay.
Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
Handle guest requests promptly, professionally, and with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or inventory shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality assurance guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Uphold The Gibson Inn's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest care at all times.
Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays based on business needs.
