The Operations Services Recruiter plays a critical role in building and maintaining our nationwide network of inspectors and field operations professionals. This role is responsible for sourcing, vetting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified inspectors who meet Fido’s service standards. You will work closely with our Operations Managers and Coordinators to understand market needs, ensure coverage in active and expansion markets, and maintain a strong bench of reliable contractors.

POSITION SUMMARY

Fido is seeking an energetic and results-driven Recruiter to build and scale our network of property inspectors and field operations contractors across the United States. In this high-impact role, you'll be the front line of talent acquisition for our Corporate Housing & Operations Services division, connecting with professionals nationwide and ensuring we have reliable, high-quality coverage in every market we serve. This role supports day-to-day customer communications and issue handling across multiple channels, working closely with our operations team to ensure problems are resolved—not just acknowledged.

This is a remote role requiring work during U.S. Central Standard Time (CST) hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source & Identify Talent: Proactively source qualified property inspectors and field operations contractors across active and expansion markets using job boards, referrals, outreach campaigns, and industry networks.

  • Screen & Vet Candidates: Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate experience, professionalism, reliability, communication skills, and alignment with Fido's inspection standards.

  • Market Coverage Planning: Work closely with Operations Managers and Coordinators to identify coverage gaps, forecast hiring needs, and ensure adequate inspector availability in each market.

  • Onboarding & Activation: Manage the onboarding process from offer through activation, including documentation collection, background checks (if applicable), training materials, and platform setup.

  • Maintain Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a strong bench of pre-vetted inspectors to ensure fast turnaround when new properties or markets are launched.

  • Quality & Performance Tracking: Monitor early performance feedback from the Operations team and identify trends in contractor reliability, quality, and responsiveness.

  • Database Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records in Google Sheets, ATS systems, and internal tracking tools.

  • Internal Communication: Coordinate consistently with Operations leadership via Slack and internal reporting tools to ensure hiring efforts align with service demand.

  • Continuous Improvement: Refine recruiting scripts, outreach messaging, and vetting criteria to improve hiring quality and speed over time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or contractor sourcing (operations, field services, or property management experience preferred)

  • Strong interviewing and vetting skills with the ability to assess professionalism, reliability, and communication quality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple markets and pipelines simultaneously

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)

  • Experience using Slack or similar communication tools

  • Comfortable conducting phone and video interviews daily

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment during U.S. Central Standard Time (CST) hours

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability, with the ability to balance speed and quality in hiring decisions
