We're seeking a hands-on 360 Blue Maintenance Technician who thrives on variety and problem-solving in dynamic environments. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing luxury vacation homes in Santa Rosa Beach, using your technical skills and practical know-how to ensure every property meets our high standards. You'll work independently to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs ranging from electrical and plumbing to appliance and furniture installation, while adapting to the ever-changing needs of our vacation rental properties and guests.
Inspect homes to maintain functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and recommendations using company software systems.
Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).
Reconfigure, install, position, and remount various varieties of home furniture and electronics.
Recommend parts and maintain required documents for the maintenance main office.
Report any maintenance issues and/or accidents immediately.

Previous experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
Proficiency in technology, such as cell phones and basic computer skills
Valid driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience and good driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and be active up to 85% of the work day
Basic organizational skills to effectively record and catalogue documents on work performed
Ability to work alone and part of a team
Proactive and flexible in approach to job duties and problem-solving

Due to the nature of the job, the Maintenance Technician should be flexible with his/her hours. Weekends and holidays are required and will generally be busy and considered working days with guest arrivals and departures although these can be covered on request and approval of the Maintenance Leadership team. We encourage all of our Team Members to take 2 days off per week where possible. Guests can arrive at unpredictable times, and the Maintenance Technician should always be available in case of emergency, which includes evenings and on-call hours. Generally, this means working some inconsistent hours.
