Fortuna Bakery is seeking a reliable Barista to join our café team in Lake Mary, FL, preparing high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and specialty beverages while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. This role includes taking orders, crafting drinks to company standards, and maintaining a clean, organized coffee station in a fast-paced bakery café environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every customer.
Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and specialty beverages according to recipes
Take customer orders and recommend bakery items or food pairings
Process payments using the POS system
Maintain the cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and work area
Restock cups, milk, syrups, coffee beans, and other supplies
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Work with the team to ensure fast, friendly service and a great customer experience
Previous barista, café, or food service experience highly preferred but not required
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
Attention to detail to ensure drink quality and consistency
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques and recipes
Compensation: $15 - $17
