Position Summary

Manzanita Beach Getaway Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Maintenance Manager to ensure our vacation rental properties remain in pristine condition for our guests. This role requires a meticulous professional who thrives on maintaining high standards, executing systematic preventive maintenance programs, and solving complex technical challenges with precision. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in building systems, a methodical approach to property inspections and repairs, and the ability to implement efficient processes that maximize property performance while ensuring guest safety and satisfaction. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, from routine preventive care to emergency response, while managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and leveraging technology to streamline operations across our portfolio of coastal vacation rentals.

What You’ll Do

Property Maintenance & Inspections

  • Conduct regular inspections across the property portfolio to ensure homes meet company standards

  • Identify maintenance issues proactively and coordinate repairs

Repairs & Technical Work

  • Perform or oversee repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances

  • Coordinate larger repairs or upgrades with contractors

Preventive Maintenance

  • Build and execute preventive maintenance schedules

  • Manage routine servicing including HVAC, pest control, and safety systems

Team & Vendor Coordination

  • Organize and assign work orders using maintenance software

  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal team members

Emergency Response

  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues to ensure guest comfort and safety

Inventory & Budget Management

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment

  • Track expenses and maintain cost-effective operations

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all work meets OSHA standards, local regulations, and building codes

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years proven experience as a Maintenance Manager, Lead Technician, or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across multiple trades

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Experience using work order or maintenance management systems

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies

Preferred Experience

  • Vacation rental or property management maintenance experience

  • Vendor and contractor management

  • Budget oversight

  • Preventive maintenance planning

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary - $60,000

This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling requirements, including on-call coverage and availability for emergency response, weekends, and holidays.
