POSITION SUMMARY

Schenkel Shultz is seeking a Marketing + Social Coordinator to join our Orlando team. This role supports the firm’s marketing initiatives through proposal development, written content, and social media storytelling that highlights our projects, people, and brand. Working within an established marketing framework, the Coordinator collaborates closely with architects, consultants, and studio leaders to develop compelling narratives for proposals, presentations, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful design work while supporting marketing efforts that strengthen the firm’s visibility and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Development & Social Media Execution

  • Draft engaging, brand-aligned written content for social media posts

  • Work in collaboration with our Graphic Designer who provides video, gifs and other graphic content for posts

  • Participate in weekly content meetings to identify newsworthy updates, project milestones, and team highlights, as well as final approvals of upcoming posts

  • Refine messaging based on feedback to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with firm voice

  • Collaborate with Design to ensure written content and visuals work cohesively

  • Maintain organized records of published content and support ongoing content planning

Proposal & Pursuits

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations by drafting and tailoring resumes, project profiles, and technical narratives

  • Support pursuit teams by organizing content and ensuring materials align with RFQ requirements

  • Follow up with team members to ensure all deliverables for the proposal are completed and incorporated into a cohesive document

  • Proofread proposals for accuracy, consistency, and compliance

  • Coordinate final formatting and production for digital and print submissions

  • Attend pre-proposal and evaluation shortlist meetings as needed

Marketing Systems Support

  • Maintain and update the firm's marketing database, including project milestones, pursuits, and client/consultant information

  • Organize and manage the image library to ensure assets are current and accessible

  • Support the firm's business development efforts through research of capital improvement plans and additional online information

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 – 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media content development

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and accountability

  • Comfortable collaborating with technical professionals and incorporating feedback into refined, client-ready materials

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Type/Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
