Position Summary

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes ownership of keeping properties guest-ready at all times.

This is not a “work order” job. This is a problem-solver role where you’ll independently diagnose issues, execute high-quality repairs, and proactively identify improvements across a portfolio of upscale homes.

You’ll play a critical role in guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and asset preservation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across properties (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)

• Troubleshoot issues quickly and implement lasting solutions

• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and owners with urgency

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Manage tools, equipment, and supply inventory

• Coordinate with contractors for specialized work

• Document work completed (photos, notes, system updates)

• Ensure all work meets safety standards and local codes

• Identify larger repair or renovation needs and escalate appropriately

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hands-on maintenance, handyman, facilities maintenance

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Excellent time management and ability to work independently

• Clear communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

• Experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, or property management

• Experience using EZ Care App or similar software

Compensation, Benefits, & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)
