POSITION SUMMARY

Breathe Easy Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented Arrival Inspector to join our team in Destin, FL. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll ensure every vacation rental is clean, fully functional, and guest-ready before arrival, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As an Arrival Inspector, you’ll conduct thorough pre-arrival inspections, identify and resolve issues, perform light maintenance, and restock essential amenities. You’ll collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams while also supporting communication with guests and homeowners when needed.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple properties. Your ability to stay organized, think proactively, and uphold high standards will directly impact guest satisfaction and overall property performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls and tickets.

  • Develop and grow a relationship with the owners of the properties by proactively communicating and becoming the subject matter expert of those properties, ensuring they are clean, maintained, and well cared for.

  • Perform light home maintenance (light bulbs, fix door hinges, unclog a toilet, etc.).

  • Conduct regular inspections, housekeeping, and maintenance, prior to guest and owner arrivals.

  • Resolve escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls, and tickets.

  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team.

  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager or peers when necessary.

  • Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring homes are clean and cared for.

  • Identify and note any damage to homes. Create maintenance tickets as necessary.

  • Manage, mentor, train, and support a small group of Housekeepers.

  • Ensure the housekeeping staff follows through on assignments and provide guidance on work methods and routines such as follow the wall, standard unit of appearance, and reporting damage.

  • Collect and remove trash and debris.

  • Meet and maintain required housekeeping metrics.

  • Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.

  • Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets, and mobile devices

  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.

  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts

  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activities frequently and cope with interruptions

  • Highly responsive and reliable

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and lift over 30 pounds.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate: $20 - 22
