Luxury Simplified is looking for a dependable and skilled Vacation Rental General Maintenance Technician to help us uphold the high standards for our luxury vacation properties in Palmetto Bluff, SC. In this hands-on role, you'll be the go-to expert for a wide range of maintenance needs, from replacing filters and troubleshooting appliances to ensuring each property is safe, functional, and impeccably maintained.
You'll play a vital part in creating unforgettable guest experiences and helping our operations run smoothly. No two days are the same, so if you're someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working both independently and with a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
Replace light bulbs, air filters, batteries, and other consumables
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
Patch drywall, paint surfaces, and repair doors, windows, and fixtures
Address and resolve minor appliance malfunctions
Maintain units to ensure they meet all LSR Property Standard Guidelines
Maintain clear and frequent communication with Operations staff
Assist in scheduling and overseeing third-party contractors
Report and document maintenance issues, damages, and resolutions
Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and regulations
Assist with property deliveries and setups
Support seasonal tasks such as winterization, summer prep, and storm prep
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, etc.)
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Professional communication across email, phone, and text
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and ability to handle interruptions
Highly responsive and reliable
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Annual: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
