Position Summary

JCQ Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our transportation team in Orlando, FL. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in executing deliveries with precision and consistency. You'll be responsible for operating various trailer sizes across local and regional routes, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.

  • Safely operate 53', 48' & 26' trailers across local and regional routes, including construction sites, warehouses, and customer locations.

  • Ensure proper load securement in compliance with FMCSA cargo securement standards.

  • Accurately verify and manage all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), delivery receipts, and load confirmations.

  • Execute pickups and deliveries on schedule while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.

  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or operational issues.

  • Adhere to all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers, vendors, and job site personnel.

  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, incidents, or violations immediately to fleet management.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of assigned equipment.

  • Assist with basic loading/unloading, trailer positioning, and yard movements as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license (required)

  • Current DOT Medical Card

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a strong safety history

  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred

  • Experience operating 53', 48 & 26' trailers

  • Working knowledge of local and regional roadways, traffic patterns, and delivery environments

  • Strong communication and time management skills
