Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver/Dispatcher to join our warehouse team in Orlando. In this role, you'll be the critical link between our incoming shipments and our customers, ensuring every item is accurately received, inspected, and dispatched. You'll thrive in this position if you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where teamwork and clear communication are essential to success. As a Receiver/Dispatcher, you'll collaborate closely with customers, carriers, and warehouse staff to resolve shipping issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep operations running smoothly. This fast-paced role requires someone who can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and building positive relationships with everyone you interact with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives items into the warehouse and ensures shipments or dispatches are inspected and sorted.

  • Manages packing list and/or bill of lading for all received products.

  • Accurately documents any exceptions to product receipt.

  • Verifies quantity and description of received materials by matching merchandise to packing slip.

  • Check for damages. Uploads clear, accurate pictures associated with damage.

  • Contact the customer and resolve any shipping issues.

  • Communicate with customers and resolve any shipping issues.

  • Creates warehouse tags for pallets/cartons/pieces received.

  • Receives and dispatches all incoming shipments into the system.

  • Responsible for the accuracy of inventory entries and accurate recording.

  • Inventory management.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate

  • Warehouse Experience

  • Well-Organized, able to multitask but also attentive to detail.

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Ability to think quickly and resolve issues.

  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions quickly.

  • Ability to handle multiple demands and work under pressure.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
