Position Summary

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Tech & Home Inspector to join our property care team in beautiful Bradenton, FL. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining pristine pool and spa conditions across our vacation rental properties while conducting thorough property inspections to ensure every guest enjoys a flawless stay. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in technical precision, thrives on routine excellence, and enjoys working independently to uphold high standards. You'll follow established procedures for water chemistry, equipment maintenance, and property assessments, making sure every detail is documented and every issue is identified before it becomes a problem.

Key Responsibilities

Pool & Spa Maintenance

  • Perform routine pool and spa cleanings (skimming, brushing, vacuuming)

  • Test and balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)

  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, timers)

  • Identify and troubleshoot pool system issues

  • Coordinate or perform minor repairs as needed

  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety standards

Property Inspections

  • Conduct scheduled inspections before and after guest stays

  • Identify maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns

  • Ensure homes meet company cleanliness and presentation standards

  • Check functionality of key systems (HVAC, appliances, plumbing, lighting)

  • Verify inventory of home essentials and guest amenities

  • Document findings with photos and detailed reports

Preventative Maintenance

  • Proactively identify wear-and-tear or potential problems

  • Perform minor handyman tasks (light bulbs, batteries, filters, etc.)

  • Report larger repair needs to management and vendors

  • Assist in seasonal or deep maintenance checks

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in pool maintenance (CPO certification preferred but not required)

  • General home maintenance or inspection experience

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a route/schedule

  • Comfortable using mobile apps for reporting and documentation

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Frequent walking, bending, and climbing stairs

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Salary: $20-$30 depending on experience
