Position Summary

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Production to lead our creative execution and drive operational excellence across all video projects. This role sits at the center of our production engine, balancing creative vision with speed, precision, and accountability.

You’ll oversee the full production lifecycle, manage multiple priorities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, analytical, and driven. Someone who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and prefers ownership over routine.

You’ll lead a team while staying close to the work, providing clear direction and maintaining high expectations. A strong problem solver with a technical mindset, you’re comfortable navigating complex projects, making well-informed decisions, and continuously improving workflows.

This position is based in Orlando, FL and requires in-office work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the full video production lifecycle from concept through final delivery

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and production teams to maintain a cohesive vision

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of creative professionals

  • Set clear goals, provide feedback, and support team growth and performance

  • Partner with producers to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

  • Step in as a primary client contact for high-profile projects when needed

  • Lead creative briefs and discovery sessions with clients

  • Ensure all content aligns with Digital Brew’s creative and technical standards

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement scalable production improvements

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies

  • Partner with leadership to align production with business goals and growth strategies

  • Manage operational costs to support profitability targets

  • Implement and leverage AI tools to improve speed, efficiency, and creative output

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in video production, animation, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of production pipelines, including scripting, storyboarding, animation, live-action shoots, and post-production.

  • Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and project management software (e.g., Notion, Monday.com, Asana).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and provide team feedback.

  • Excitement around AI to find efficiencies and stay relevant in the market.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working in a creative agency or video production company.

  • Familiarity with emerging trends like AI-powered production tools and interactive video formats.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Media Production, or a related field is a plus.

  • Ensure operational costs support company’s financial targets and profitability goals

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation: $125,000 - 150,000 annually

Additional Comp: Bonus opportunities available
