Luxury Housekeeping Inspector

Inlet Beach, FL

30A Luxury Vacations

You Have the Eye. We Have the Properties to Match It.

There’s a moment every guest experiences when they walk through the door of one of our homes for the first time. The air is fresh. The linens are perfect. Everything is exactly where it should be. Nothing is out of place.

That moment doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone cared enough to make sure it did.

At 30A Luxury Vacations, we manage some of the most exceptional vacation properties along Florida’s Emerald Coast. We’re locally owned, deeply rooted in this community, and proud of the standard we hold ourselves to. That standard lives or dies in the details — and the Housekeeping Inspector is the person who owns those details.

If you’re someone who notices the thing everyone else walks past, this role was made for you.

A Different Kind of “Picky”

In most jobs, being particular is a liability. Here, it’s the job. Our guests are discerning travelers who chose a luxury home because they expect more. Our homeowners have invested significantly in their properties and trust us to protect that investment with every single turnover.

Think about everything that exists inside a luxury home — every surface, every amenity, every linen, every piece of staging. There are thousands of individual details across our portfolio, and we don’t leave any of them to chance. We use sophisticated property management software to track standards, flag issues, and ensure every property is documented and accounted for. As a Housekeeping Inspector, you are the human quality check behind that system — the final set of eyes before the guest ever walks in the door.

Clean and guest-ready isn’t good enough. It has to be right.

A Word About the Schedule

We’re in the hospitality business. That means we work when other people vacation. Weekends are a regular part of this role, and holidays can be a workday too — because that’s when guests are checking in and our standards don’t take days off. We structure the team’s schedule as fairly as we can and make sure there’s protected time to recharge. If you take pride in being the person who shows up when it matters, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

You’ll move through our portfolio each day with purpose — inspecting, coordinating, communicating, and ensuring no property leaves your hands anything short of exceptional.

•     Conducting thorough property inspections after each housekeeping turnover — verifying that every home is cleaned, staged, stocked, and truly guest-ready to our standard

•     Identifying anything that falls short and communicating it clearly and promptly through our systems to the appropriate team

•     Stepping in hands-on when needed — light cleaning, staging corrections, or whatever it takes to get the property where it needs to be before the guest arrives

•     Preparing amenities, linens, and supplies for housekeeping teams heading out to properties

•     Managing linen logistics — prepping towels and linens for laundering, receiving and organizing deliveries, maintaining warehouse inventory

•     Keeping our warehouse clean, organized, and stocked at proper levels

•     Coordinating closely with maintenance, property management, and reservations — an inspection doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it’s part of a larger operation

•     Delivering items to guests during their stays and managing lost and found in coordination with our reservations team

•     Assisting with owner arrival and VIP guest preparations — when the bar is even higher, you’re the one who makes sure we clear it

Who You Are

You’re organized, dependable, and take genuine pride in a job done right. You don’t need to be told twice, and you don’t cut corners. You understand that the guest experience lives in the details and you hold yourself accountable for them.

•     1+ years as a Housekeeping Inspector — vacation rental or luxury hospitality strongly preferred

•     A high school diploma or GED

•     A deep knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, products, and staging standards

•     Excellent time management — you’re moving between multiple properties daily and you know how to prioritize

•     Clear, professional communication skills — you’ll be coordinating across teams constantly

Comfortable with our tech stack:

•     Inspections & Work Orders: Breezeway

•     Communications: Slack, Microsoft Outlook

•     Hardware: Apple ecosystem exclusively — iPhone, iPad

•     AI Tools: Comfort with Claude AI or ChatGPT is a plus — we use AI to work smarter across the team

•     Reliable transportation — company vehicle provided for qualified candidates; personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement also available

•     Personal presentation and professionalism that reflect the luxury brand you’re representing every day

Why 30A Luxury Vacations

•     $1,000 signing bonus paid after your first 90 days

•     Hourly wage: $19.00 – $24.00, based on experience and demonstrated skill

•     Performance bonus tied to meaningful results

•     Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance

•     Life insurance

•     Retirement account

•     Paid time off (PTO) — covering both sick and vacation time

•     Transportation: Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement — depending on what works best

•     A place worth showing up to: we’re on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country, and we want our team to enjoy it

We promote from within and reward performance with real outcomes — whether that’s the next pay increase, the next title, or the next opportunity. We want people who are hungry to earn both.
