Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare customized catering proposals, negotiate pricing, and draft formal contracts to secure bookings.
Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed annual sales targets by up-selling menu enhancements, bar packages, and premium services.
Relationship Management: Maintain a strong "book of business" by nurturing relationships with corporate event planners, wedding coordinators, and local community groups.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design creative, profitable menus tailored to diverse client needs and dietary restrictions.
Site Visits: Lead prospective clients on site inspections and food tastings to showcase venue capabilities and service standards.
Departmental Liaison: Communicate all event details (via Banquet Event Orders or BEOs) to the kitchen and banquet staff to ensure flawless execution.
On-Site Support: Provide hands-on assistance during major events to resolve any issues and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Reporting: Prepare monthly sales forecasts, track booking pace, and analyze market trends to inform pricing strategies.
Budget Oversight: Manage the catering department budget and monitor expenses to maximize profitability.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in catering or hotel sales, with a proven track record of meeting revenue goals.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
