The Linen Transport Driver / Laundry Support position is responsible for moving clean and dirty linen between our Port St. Joe and Apalachicola laundry facilities. (You will be based in Port St. Joe)
This person will drive a company box truck, load and unload linen carts using a lift gate, and help keep linen moving between both locations. This position may be seasonal, part-time, or full-time depending on your availability and ability to support other laundry needs.
Full-time may be available for someone who is dependable, versatile, and willing to assist with general laundry support tasks as needed.
Transport clean and dirty linen between the Port St. Joe and Apalachicola laundry facilities.
Drive a company box truck safely between locations.
Load and unload linen carts using a lift gate.
Move heavy linen carts safely and keep clean and dirty linen separated.
Stage linen carts in the correct areas at each facility.
Keep the truck, loading areas, and work areas clean and organized.
Communicate with the laundry team about pickups, deliveries, delays, or issues.
Assist with general laundry support tasks as needed when not driving.
Valid driver's license.
Acceptable driving record.
Comfortable driving a box truck or similar work vehicle.
Able to safely use a lift gate.
Able to push, pull, and move heavy linen carts.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Comfortable with physical work.
Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
Hourly Wage: $16 - 18 (additionally, there's a performance-based bonus)
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time availability.
