Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and quality-driven Property Inspector to ensure our vacation rental homes consistently meet the high standards that define the Stay on 30A experience. This role is essential in delivering a seamless experience for both guests and homeowners by conducting thorough inspections, identifying maintenance concerns, and ensuring each home is presented in pristine condition.

Every inspection is an opportunity to protect the guest experience, uphold homeowner expectations, and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough property inspections before guest arrivals and after departures

  • Check for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance issues, reporting any concerns promptly and accurately

  • Verify that all property amenities (appliances, electronics, pools, hot tubs, etc.) are in proper working order and guest-ready condition

  • Ensure home staging, presentation, and overall appearance align with our 5-star hospitality standards

  • Document inspection findings with photos and detailed notes within the company's inspection app

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain exceptional property standards

  • Assist in inventory checks for household supplies, guest amenities, and linens to ensure homes remain fully stocked and prepared

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively communicate recommendations that enhance the guest and homeowner experience

  • Take ownership of assigned properties by helping ensure every home is safe, functional, welcoming, and ready for arrival

  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, vendors, homeowners, and team members

  • Manage inspection schedules efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property inspection, housekeeping, or vacation rental management preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Basic knowledge of home maintenance and cleaning standards

  • Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting inspections

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required

  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, including holidays as needed
