The Guest Service & Reservation Sales Agent at Florida Vacay Rentals is often the first personal connection a guest has with our company, making this role critical to both the guest experience and our revenue growth. This position goes beyond answering phones and responding to inquiries; our Guest Service & Reservation Sales Agents are hospitality-focused sales professionals who help guests find the right vacation rental, build confidence in booking with Florida Vacay Rentals, and create a positive experience from the very first interaction.
This role requires strong communication skills, a service-first mindset, and the ability to recognize sales opportunities in every guest conversation. The Guest Service & Reservation Sales Agent is responsible for responding to phone calls, emails, texts, and online inquiries, providing accurate property and destination information, overcoming objections, and converting qualified leads into confirmed reservations. By combining exceptional customer service with proactive sales techniques, this position directly supports guest satisfaction, occupancy, revenue growth, and the overall success of Florida Vacay Rentals.
The ideal candidate is friendly, persuasive, detail-oriented, and comfortable guiding guests through the decision-making process. They understand that every inquiry is an opportunity to create trust, solve a guest’s vacation needs, and secure a booking. Success in this role is measured not only by responsiveness and guest satisfaction, but also by conversion rates, booking revenue, follow-up effectiveness, and the ability to deliver a memorable guest experience.
Guest Experience & Reservations
Deliver exceptional hospitality by assisting guests through the reservation process and helping them plan memorable stays
Convert inquiries into confirmed booking
Promote trip insurance, extended stays, and early/late check-in options
Troubleshoot guest concerns during stays with urgency, empathy, and professionalism
Operations Coordination
Coordinate and dispatch housekeeping, maintenance, and service vendors as needed
Manage multiple systems while researching solutions and assisting guests in real time
Minimum 1+ years experience in phone sales, reservations, or customer service.
Strong hospitality mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Experience in vacation rental industry
Experience with Streamline, Breezeway software
Based on individual sales, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
