Position Summary

Beachwalk Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservation Specialist to join our team in South Haven, MI. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests exploring vacation rental options along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. You'll manage the reservation process from inquiry to booking, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service at every step. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries by phone, email, and online booking platforms in a professional and timely manner.

  • Assist guests with selecting vacation rental properties that best fit their needs.

  • Provide accurate information regarding property features, availability, rates, policies, amenities, and local area details.

  • Process reservations, changes, cancellations, and guest account updates accurately.

  • Maintain detailed and organized reservation records within the company's booking system.

  • Follow up with prospective guests to encourage bookings and provide excellent service.

  • Communicate with internal team members regarding guest needs, special requests, arrival details, and reservation updates.

  • Support guests before, during, and after their stay to help ensure a positive vacation experience.

  • Help resolve guest concerns or questions with professionalism and care.

  • Stay knowledgeable about Beachwalk Properties' vacation homes, company policies, and South Haven area attractions.

  • Assist with administrative tasks and office support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years previous customer service, hospitality, sales, reservations, or administrative experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.

  • Comfortable using computers, reservation systems, email, and phone systems.

  • Ability to learn property details, company procedures, and booking policies.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Compensation, Benefits, & Schedule

Hourly Salary$21 - $25

Bonus

  • Percentage of annual sales targets
