Position Summary

Fortuna Bakery is seeking a skilled PT Baker to join our team in Lake Mary. In this role, you will be responsible for baking breads and pastry products while ensuring every item meets our high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. You'll monitor baking times and temperatures, operate commercial ovens safely, and help maintain a clean and organized workspace.

What You'll Do

• Operate commercial ovens and monitor baking temperatures throughout production

• Bake breads, pastries, and other bakery products according to recipes and quality standards

• Monitor baking times to ensure products are properly baked and consistent

• Load and unload trays safely using appropriate equipment and protective gear

• Inspect finished products for color, texture, appearance, and overall quality

• Clean ovens, baking equipment, and work areas throughout each shift

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to maintain efficient production

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial oven operation and baking times

• Ability to work safely in a hot kitchen environment

• Ability to lift and move heavy baking trays and ingredients

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products

• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous baking experience in a bakery, café, restaurant, or food production environment

• Experience preparing breads, pastries, or other baked goods

• Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and production processes

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
