Position Summary
Natural Retreats is hiring a Property Manager to join our Big Sky, Montana team! The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring all properties and homes in the Big Sky, MT destination are maintained to the highest standard and consistently prepared for arrival in accordance with Natural Retreats brand standards. Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties
Assist management in overseeing owner and guest services and fulfill owner and guest requests.
Assist with all aspects of maintenance, housekeeping management, and vendor relationships.
Assist with housekeeping as needed to ensure homes are ready for guest arrival.
Ensure all homes are up to NR brand standards by addressing deferred maintenance issues.
Gain full knowledge of and maintain all operational systems and services in rental properties as required including gas, HVAC, electrical, entertainment, water, sewage supply etc.
Manage any stocks of consumable items such as lightbulbs, batteries, dishes, etc. efficiently and within budget, assigning appropriate charges to owners as required by applicable deadlines.
Conduct property inspections.
Perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs including but not limited to:
Reset Wi-Fi routers and modems
Reset and program cable and satellite TV receivers
Perform light plumbing and painting repairs
Work closely with vendors to schedule and supervise subcontracted work as needed.
Ensure all homeowners receive personalized attention and care and all guests have an AMAZING experience with Natural Retreats from arrival through to their departure.
Gain and maintain a strong working knowledge of the destination and be able to effectively communicate this to guests and other departments within Natural Retreats.
Operate company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and professional manner.
Set an example of professionalism by modeling superior work ethic, appearance, timekeeping, preparedness, and attributes to gain the trust, confidence, and respect of all.
Required Qualifications
Current Montana Property management license or ability to obtain and maintain licensure within time frame identified upon training
Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality, property management, or other related field
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening
Strong mechanical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of home systems
Ability to use hand and basic power tools
Strong local knowledge of Big Sky and surrounding area
Ability to manage fluctuating workload
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Highly autonomous and self-motivated
Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Property Manager should be flexible with their hours. Weekends and holidays will generally be busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days. Generally, this will mean a working day of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, although on occasion this may vary according to occupancy levels. All Property Managers are required to be on call 1 to 2 nights per week. The team member should always be available in case of an emergency or due to unpredictable guest arrivals. Exact daily schedules may vary from season to season and differ from in-season to off-season. We encourage all of our team members to take two (2) days off per week where possible. Vacation is generally taken outside of peak season.
