Position Summary
Synergy Siteworks is entering an exciting phase of strategic growth, and we are seeking an experienced, driven Project Manager to lead commercial site development projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of assigned projects, including estimating, field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, financial performance, and project closeout. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for each project while building trusted relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal team members.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a proven self-starter who is comfortable leading teams in the field, solving problems proactively, and driving projects to successful completion with minimal oversight.
What You’ll Do
Own the day-to-day management of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, including regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, budget, and safety
Lead the scheduling and sequencing of subcontractors, trade partners, and vendors
Resolve field issues directly and hold subcontractors accountable for scope, schedule, and quality
Lead quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bid solicitation, proposal preparation, and project buyout
Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules using Microsoft Project
Proactively identify and resolve potential schedule delays
Manage project operations in Procore, including RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, punch lists, and daily field reports
Oversee change order pricing, pay application preparation, budget tracking, and cost-to-complete reporting
Take direct accountability for project profitability
Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects
Lead project meetings and maintain clear, transparent communication between clients, field teams, and office staff
Conduct job site walks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Lead punch list management and project closeout, including final documentation and warranties
Mentor junior staff and the project support team, sharing knowledge and best practices
Partner with the Operations Manager to develop and improve project management processes, checklists, and procedures
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within civil site development, underground utilities, or general construction
Strong working knowledge of civil sitework, including earthwork, underground utilities, grading, and paving
Strong understanding of civil and architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
Hands-on proficiency with Procore construction management software
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar construction scheduling software
Strong proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and general technology tools
Willingness to adopt AI tools and emerging technology to improve workflows
Demonstrated ability to take full accountability for project outcomes and lead by example
Confidence directing work on active construction sites
Strong judgment and the ability to identify and resolve risks before they affect the schedule or budget
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
Ability to work effectively from a home office without distraction during regular business hours
Ability to use a cell phone and laptop while traveling between job sites
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly to active job sites throughout Central Florida
Professional, positive, and solutions-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Compensation, Benefits & More
Compensation: $95,000-$125,000 annually
Bonus: Additional bonuses based on performance
Benefits: Paid time off, including vacation and sick time

Location: Hybrid in Orlando, Florida, with regular travel to active job sites throughout Central Florida
