Position Summary

As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you'll represent one of the most recognizable brands in the industry while helping homeowners protect their most valuable investment. You'll conduct home inspections, identify termite and pest concerns, educate customers on available solutions, and recommend services that provide lasting peace of mind.

What You'll Do
Prioritize safety in every aspect of your work.
Represent Orkin with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Build trusted relationships with homeowners by identifying their needs and recommending the best pest protection solutions.
Conduct comprehensive interior and exterior home inspections, including attics, crawl spaces, and other accessible areas.
Generate new business through company-provided leads and prospecting efforts.
Schedule and conduct in-home sales appointments.
Clearly explain inspection findings, answer customer questions, and present customized service recommendations.
Prepare sales agreements using the company-provided iPad and CRM tools.
Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the overall team.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
No previous pest control experience required—we provide industry-leading training.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to obtain the required pesticide license or certification (company paid).
Ability to work independently in the field while providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to safely use ladders, access attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other confined spaces.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when necessary.
Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous sales experience.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Average first-year earnings of $80,000 - $100,000 (base salary plus commission).
