Position Summary
Vanage Vacation Homes is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Specialist to ensure our vacation rental properties in Cape Coral consistently meet the high standards our guests expect. In this role, you'll serve as our quality assurance expert, conducting thorough quarterly inspections of our portfolio of homes to evaluate guest amenities, household inventory, and overall property presentation. Your keen eye for detail will help us identify and address potential issues before they impact guest satisfaction, while your systematic approach to documentation and reporting will provide valuable insights that drive continuous improvement across our properties. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys working independently, and understands that small details make a big difference in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
Conduct quarterly quality control inspections at assigned vacation rental homes.
Review home supplies, guest amenities, and household inventory to identify missing, low, damaged, or worn items.
Replenish or organize supplies when inventory is available on site.
Check key guest-facing areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, outdoor areas, beach gear, grill areas, and amenity spaces.
Inspect the general condition and presentation of the home, noting anything that may affect guest experience.
Report observed maintenance concerns, damages, safety issues, missing items, housekeeping concerns, or owner-related items that need attention.
Take clear photos and provide detailed notes to document findings.
Confirm property-specific amenities are present and in acceptable condition, such as beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, bikes, kayaks, carts, games, kitchen items, baby items, or other listed amenities.
Identify recurring supply or amenity gaps and communicate recommendations to the operations team.
Assist with light organizing, restocking, or simple resets during the inspection when appropriate.
Complete inspection checklists accurately and submit findings in a timely manner
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice small issues before they become guest complaints.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Clear communication skills, including the ability to provide notes, photos, and updates.
Comfortable using a smartphone and online apps for checklists, photos, and team communication.
Ability to walk through multi-level homes, climb stairs, lift light supplies, and perform basic restocking or organizing tasks.
Prior experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, housekeeping, property management, inspections, or quality control is helpful but not required.
