Position Summary
Hill Country Premier Lodging is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our operations across the Texas Hill Country. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll take charge of all aspects of our property portfolio, driving both operational excellence and strategic growth. As the primary leader on the ground, you’ll build and inspire a talented local team while upholding our commitment to exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.
You’ll work closely with property owners, oversee day-to-day field and office operations, and collaborate with executive leadership to execute ambitious growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives on taking ownership, making decisive calls, and building sustainable systems that deliver measurable impact in a service-intensive, fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall operational performance of Hill Country Premier Lodging, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, homeowner satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial success.
Build, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, inspections, and field operations.
Recruit, onboard, and retain top hospitality talent, including both W-2 employees and 1099 field contractors.
Establish clear accountability through KPIs, scorecards, SOPs, and performance management to drive operational excellence.
Drive revenue, profitability, labor efficiency, and budget performance while maintaining premium service standards across the portfolio.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities, solve problems proactively, and make informed business decisions.
Develop and implement scalable operational processes and best practices that support continued portfolio growth.
Build trusted relationships with homeowners through proactive communication, transparency, and exceptional service.
Oversee property readiness by ensuring housekeeping, inspections, maintenance, and turnovers consistently meet company quality standards.
Personally lead the resolution of complex guest and homeowner concerns with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment.
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including short-term rental ordinances throughout the Texas Hill Country.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, operational improvements, technology initiatives, and long-term growth.
Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in vacation rental management, hospitality, or property management with demonstrated P&L ownership required.
Proven success leading multiple operational departments simultaneously, such as housekeeping, maintenance, inspections, guest services, and field operations.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor planning, and presenting business performance to executive leadership.
Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Experience implementing operational systems, KPIs, SOPs, and process improvements that drive organizational growth and efficiency.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with experience managing relationships with homeowners, guests, vendors, and employees.
Confident decision-maker who remains calm under pressure and effectively leads through changing priorities and operational challenges.
Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout the Texas Hill Country.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to work on-site in Wimberley, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Breezeway or similar property operations software.
Experience with Streamline, Track, or another vacation rental property management system.
Multi-property vacation rental leadership experience overseeing portfolios across multiple markets.
Experience leading organizational growth, acquisitions, or rapid operational expansion.

Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary
$120,000 - $150,000
Bonus
Annual discretionary bonus is based on individual and company performance during the calendar year.
