Position Summary
The Homeowner Relations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners participating in the vacation rental program. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong owner relationships while ensuring each property is well-maintained, competitive in the rental market, and positioned to maximize owner satisfaction and rental revenue. Working closely with the Operations, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams, the Homeowner Relations Manager coordinates property improvements, addresses owner concerns, communicates program performance, and provides professional guidance on strategies to enhance each property's success. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, and customer service skills, along with a thorough understanding of the Florida vacation rental industry and the unique needs of individually owned condominium units and single-family vacation homes.
What You'll Do
Serve as the primary liaison between homeowners and the company, ensuring clear, professional, and responsive communication.
Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries, concerns, and requests with personalized solutions.
Educate homeowners on company policies, procedures, and the benefits of the vacation rental program.
Schedule and conduct regular homeowner meetings and property performance reviews.
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to ensure properties consistently meet company standards.
Conduct routine property inspections to verify quality, cleanliness, and guest readiness.
Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance while keeping homeowners informed throughout the process.
Ensure properties remain compliant with applicable local, state, and homeowners' association regulations.
Work with the accounting team to provide homeowners with rental income reports, expense summaries, and occupancy trends.
Collaborate with the revenue management team to establish competitive rental pricing based on market conditions.
Resolve homeowner account questions, including billing inquiries and payment schedules.
Partner with the guest services team to ensure homeowner expectations align with the guest experience.
Communicate guest feedback and resolutions related to individual properties.
Support the onboarding of new homeowners into the vacation rental program.
Develop strategies to improve homeowner retention and overall satisfaction.
Gather homeowner feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Collaborate with marketing to ensure properties are effectively promoted.
Advise homeowners on upgrades and amenities that can improve rental performance.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in property management, homeowner relations, or vacation rental management.
Strong understanding of the Florida vacation rental market and homeowner expectations.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for property visits.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Familiarity with Florida condominium and homeowners' association regulations.
Experience with property management software such as LMPM, Escapia, Streamline, or similar platforms.
Experience working with vacation rental homeowners and luxury properties.
