Position Summary

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Real Estate Inside Sales Agent: National Lead Conversion Specialist who thrives on connecting with people and turning opportunities into meaningful next steps.

This position is focused on working with buyer and investor leads interested in purchasing Short Term Rental properties across the country.
You’ll serve as a critical first touchpoint for prospective investors—responding to new opportunities, building rapport, understanding their investment goals, qualifying their readiness, and guiding them toward the appropriate next step with our national agent network.

This is more than an appointment-setting role. We’re looking for someone who can lead a productive conversation, uncover what is driving the investor, determine whether there is a legitimate opportunity, and create enough clarity and value for the client to commit to the next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call, text, and email new and existing buyer leads to generate qualified conversations and appointments.

  • Respond quickly to inbound opportunities while maintaining disciplined outbound follow-up with existing leads.

  • Conduct initial qualification conversations with prospective Short Term Rental investors.

  • Uncover each investor’s motivation, investment goals, available capital, financing situation, experience, timeline, market direction, and readiness to move forward.

  • Help investors clarify their needs when they are uncertain about markets, property direction, or next steps.

  • Follow proven scripts and sales frameworks while keeping conversations natural, confident, and consultative.

  • Build value around the next step and gain clear commitment before scheduling or connecting the investor with an agent.

  • Handle common objections related to timing, market uncertainty, readiness, financing, competing priorities, and hesitation to move forward.

  • Connect qualified investors with the appropriate agent or resource based on their needs and investment direction.

  • Maintain ownership and visibility of assigned leads through the required follow-up and handoff process.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including notes, statuses, qualification details, follow-up tasks, agent connections, and appointment information.

  • Confirm appointments and conduct proactive outreach designed to improve appointment show rates.

  • Complete scheduled follow-up consistently and ensure every active lead has a clear next step.

  • Participate in call reviews, role-play, coaching, and ongoing sales training.

  • Track and report daily and weekly activity and conversion metrics, including calls, contacts, appointments, show rate, qualified opportunities, and agent connections.

  • Collaborate with agents, leadership, and other team members to improve lead quality, client experience, and conversion performance.

  • Operate within applicable real estate compliance guidelines and do not provide brokerage services beyond the authorized scope of the position unless properly licensed and authorized.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not measured simply by how many appointments are placed on a calendar. A successful Real Estate Inside Sales Agent: National Lead Conversion Specialist consistently:

  • Creates meaningful conversations with prospective investors.

  • Identifies motivation and distinguishes interest from genuine intent.

  • Qualifies the investor before advancing them to the next stage.

  • Creates value around the next step rather than simply offering access to an agent.

  • Gains clear commitments from clients.

  • Generates qualified appointments that show.

  • Makes quality agent connections.

  • Follows up consistently until there is a clear next step or disposition.

  • Maintains accurate and actionable CRM records.

  • Meets or exceeds defined activity and conversion standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, appointment setting, lead conversion, or call-heavy client-facing experience.

  • Strong phone presence: confident, clear, personable, and capable of guiding conversations toward an outcome.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly while asking effective discovery and qualification questions.

  • Comfortable working in a high-volume phone environment and completing consistent outbound follow-up.

  • Strong objection-handling and closing skills.

  • Proven follow-up discipline—you do not “set it and forget it.”

  • Highly coachable and comfortable receiving direct feedback, reviewing calls, and participating in role-play.

  • High attention to detail with consistent CRM usage, including notes, tasks, statuses, and next steps.

  • Comfortable being measured weekly on activity and conversion scorecards.

  • Professional written communication skills for texts and emails with strong grammar.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly collaborative sales team.

  • Ability to work in-office in Asheville, NC on the stated schedule.

Experience in real estate, investing, Short Term Rentals, or financial services is helpful but not required. Strong sales ability, curiosity, and coachability are more important than industry experience.
