Position Summary
We’re looking for an organized, hospitality-minded Assistant Operations Manager to coordinate the daily operations of our furnished rental portfolio. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll support our cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and guest service teams; coordinate vendors; and help ensure every property is ready to welcome guests.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys supporting people, solving problems, and making each guest stay a great experience. You’ll keep daily work moving, spot issues early, and escalate complex matters when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily cleaning, maintenance, inspections, guest service, and property turnovers.
Schedule field staff, arrange coverage, assign tasks, and follow through on work in Breezeway and other operational systems.
Walk properties regularly, resolve readiness issues, and ensure every check-in has a completed inspection.
Support and coach team members on company standards and guest experience.
Schedule third-party vendors, verify completed work, maintain documentation, and gather bids for larger projects.
Manage supplies and inventory, including ordering and monthly reporting for items transferred to properties.
Coordinate new property setup, keep owners informed of progress, and create accurate listings ready for launch.
Communicate property issues and recommendations to owners, including requests that need their approval.
Support Guest Service Agents, respond to guest reviews, and use feedback to improve future stays.
Keep property systems, task records, and team documentation accurate and up to date.
Required Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, guest services, property management, or real estate operations.
Experience coordinating vendors or supporting property maintenance.
Experience working with or alongside field teams.
Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities, take initiative, and follow through.
A guest-focused approach and interest in growing your operational and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Hostaway or another property management system, Breezeway, Asana, Notion, or Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Compensation, Benefits & More
Compensation: $43,000–$53,000 annually
